Peugeot 308 R Concept stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Peugeot’s hot new 308 R Concept hatchback has the new mk7 Volkswagen Golf GTI square in its sights here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The regular 308 hatch is also making its debut, showing quality Peugeot hope will rival the likes of Volkswagen and Audi, but with the rather racy looking 308 R, the French firm is after the performance crown, too. Queen’s hat causes car problem in France

Renault | AP The French president has a problem: it turns out none of the Citroen cars currently at his disposal are large enough to accommodate the Queen’s customary hats. So for Her Majesty’s state visit on 6 June, in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of D-Day, president Francois Hollande has ordered an old Renault out of retirement to make sure the Queen has the necessary headroom. Jaws and Pussy Galore visit Bond attraction

TWO ICONIC characters from the James Bond franchise - Jaws and Pussy Galore - will appear at Beaulieu Motor Museum's Bond In Motion exhibition this November. Richard Kiel, who played the steel-toothed Jaws in The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker, and Honor Blackman, who played Pussy Galore in Goldfinger, will be visiting the exhibition between 10.30am and 4.00pm on 30th November and 1st December 2013. Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to purchase Richard's autobiography, Making It Big in the Movies, and both Richard and Honor will be available to sign purchases and for photographs.
